As of July 15th, The Eatontown Police Department Communications Division will be taking control of the dispatching of the Eatontown Fire Department. As of now, dispatching will continue to be on MC Fire 1 by Eatontown Police Communications on a temporary bases. All communications will be conducted over Eatontown 'local' frequency. ie.. apparatus/officers calling in service, on scene and clearing. There will also be NO NEED for apparatus to call back at the firehouse when the incident is completed. It will be the responsibility of the line officer or first due apparatus to clear the incident only.

NO COMMUNICATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED OVER FIRE 2 UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY A LINE OFFICER

We will continue utilizing the same radio etiquette on local as we did on Fire 2. We will continue the same policy as Monmouth County, the communications center will only acknowledge the line officers & first piece of apparatus calling into service. If the second due or other apparatus calls into service and does not receive an acknowledgment from EPD Communications, DO NOT KEEP CALLING THEM!!

If there are any questions, please feel free to contact 11-66 or 11-67
